Saturday Service

Worship Service at 8:30am

Daily Bread Cafe (community breakfast) at 9:30am

We seek to demonstrate the love of Jesus through:

•Providing a meal

•Telling the message of Jesus Christ

•Encouraging others to grow in Christ

The Story of the Daily Bread Cafe:

This ministry started when a group of men having a Saturday morning Bible study encountered a man in desperate need of food and shelter. These men invited him in for breakfast, and came to realize that many others in our community were in need of some physical assistance. They invited him to come back the following week, and to invite others. Word of mouth spread, and soon several men and women were consistently coming on Saturday morning for breakfast. As relationships were built it became clear that these men and women were not only physically hungry, but also hungry for purpose. Many were broken and beaten down by life and were ready to make radical changes in their lives. Because we believe that the Bible has all the answers to the hard questions in life, a short Bible study was incorporated into the breakfast. This also began to grow as folks began to ask more and more questions about God, the Bible, and Jesus Christ. In time what was once a breakfast for a hungry neighbor has now become a full service where we have music, get in the Word, and share a meal with one another. It has been such a blessing to see God transform lives through the power of His Word and fellowship! What to expect: A great time of fellowship with people from all walks of life, a powerful challenge from God's Word, and a great breakfast! Come as you are (no dress code) and anticipate getting fed both spiritually and physically! Getting Involved: We are always looking for people to help us serve in these key areas: food preparation, serving food, set-up/clean up, music, and the ministry of presence (hanging out and getting to know people). *If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the church here.

Sunday service

Join us every Sunday morning at 11AM in the sanctuary for a time of worship and a gospel-centered message from the Word. All are welcome to come as you are to hear what the Lord has to say to us through His servants!  There is childcare provided (nursery & children's church) for children up through 5th grade.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at

discipleship groups

We are committed to learning and living the scriptures at LHNC. We want to create an environment of trust and vulnerability where men and women can grow together in their walk with Jesus Christ. We have found that small discipleship groups are best for this type of intimate growth and fellowship. We2 realize that scheduling may be an issue so we are committed to forming new groups that are sensitive to both time and location. Our goal is to form several groups that cater to the needs of the individuals of our church and community. We currently have men's and women's discipleship groups meeting throughout Richmond. *If you are interested in the next start date for discipleship groups, please contact Pastor Dave here.
