  • syria t. berry

    worship pastor

Syria was born in San Francisco and has lived in the Bay Area all of his life. He is married to his wife Rita and has two grown children and three grand children. After years of using his musical gifts in various venues, in 2004 Syria began using his musical gifts in the church. He studied Praise and Worship at Golden Gate Baptist Seminary, and received his diploma in Praise and Worship from Beacon University Institute of Ministry in 2007. His music has opened many doors for him to minister (Gospel Academy Awards, opera, and commercials) but he especially loves leading others into worship at LHNC. He says, “At Living Hope we praise God with immeasurable joy! I invite all with the desire to make a joyful noise to join us on Sundays.” Syria enjoys studying theology and church history, playing tennis, watching sports, and working on music with his lovely wife Rita and their group Crimson Flow.
